Senior Process Design Engineer
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the process design element of all Preliminary Engineering Designs and Detailed Design including development and optimization of water & wastewater treatment plant projects
  • To provide detailed process and design input for the submission of innovative engineering proposals and tenders.
  • To provide detailed process and design input to ensure the smooth running of ongoing M & E Contracts.
  • To lead the project teams in the testing, commissioning and handover of projects.
  • Supporting the Sales Team to ensure proposals are submitted with efficient and economical designs and supporting the Project Teams to ensure the timely completion (including testing & commissioning and handover) of project/s within budget (cost forecast) and to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Lead discussions with equipment suppliers and ensure process equipment is optimized with respect to opex and capex.
  • Provide detailed process design details of all ongoing projects to the design teams and the project implementation teams for all water and wastewater treatment plant projects. Ensure compliance to the process design and specification of all ongoing projects.
  • Provide detailed testing and commissioning plans including process proving necessary for the smooth handover of projects.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the water and wastewater treatment plant project.
  • 5 years experience in detailed design experience

  • Lead the Customer Service Team for both Air/Sea freight
  • Liaise with customers on SOPs
  • Meet up with clients on special matters

  • Promptly handle customer/team escalations, inter-BU disputes

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly handle customer enquiries
  • Ensure compliance with customer's standard operating procedures
  • Liaise with overseas agents on the various requirements and rates
  • Co-ordinate with import and export operations, to ensure accuracy in documentation and invoicing
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with carriers/customers/suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of shipments
  • Troubleshoot shipment issues

Requirements:

  • 'A' level / Diploma / Degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding with either seafreight or airfreight experience in 3PL/freight forwarding industry is a MUST.
