As the Regional Head of Corporate Finance (Senior Director), the incumbent will lead their Asia Pacific Corporate Finance Shared Services based in Kuala Lumpur, overseeing Corporate Finance(Financial Accounting, Tax and Treasury Management and Corporate Overheads Review and Reporting) and Corporate Planning (Strategy and Budget Cycle, Performance Management Reporting and Enterprise Risk Management)
Supports investor relations management, as well as participate in monthly Top Team meetings, helping to drive improvements to the meeting process. Focus on development of team through exposure to key business drivers in marketing, operations, corporate and regulatory affairs, information technology and human resources. Effectively manage the career development to provide improved managerial talent within the Finance Function and overall company for succession planning. SUCCESS KEY FACTORS … As the Head of the APAC Region's Corporate Finance, you must have knowledge and understanding of the organisation's strategies, goals and initiatives, as well as its implications. Rich experience with internationalised blue-chip organisations, as regional Finance leaders preferably in the Consumer domain, with the ability to credibly operate at Senior Executive level.
A charming individual demonstrating executive presence and has managed business relationships at the executive level regional / globally, with the capability to influence senior executives through strength of ideas and an attractive personality.
A high-energy strategic thinker and collaborator with solid judgement, never unfailing to see the big picture with creativity. Knows when to gain input and share information, and when to execute and get results.
Global perspective and international experience, with proven track record of success in Corporate Finance for established renowned organizations. 15+ years of professional experience with exceptional business acumen and proven ability to leverage the appropriate range of internal capabilities to bring value to business.
Willingness to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. (Local Plus or Expat package may be offered.) Language capabilities in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
