Senior IT Executive-Navision
(Selangor - Klang)

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Dynamics NAV team to stimulate IT processes.
  • Assist in designing, developing and testing new development efforts.
  • Troubleshoot issues relating to processes using Dynamics NAV.
  • Maintain development, testing and production environment to ensure they are in sync and backed up.
  • Review Navision security patches and recommend maintenance schedule based on priority.
  • Provide administrative support to MS SQL.
  • Assist with developing documentation and metrics.
  • Execute tasks related to client customization, training and management of product upgrade.
  • Customize and integrate within NAV.
  • Support and debug existing implementation.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At leasat 2-3 years of working experience programming.
  • Well verse in Visual Basic 6.0 and .NET technologies and languages preferably ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#. Knowledge in C, C++ is an added advantage.
  • Well verse in any of the database such as MS SQL database environment. Other database knowledge such as MySQL & Oracle is an added advantage.
  • Expected to know at least surface knowledge in server and database configuration and administration.
