·         Ensure Company's HSSE policy is adhered to at all times in the plant

·         Responsible for the supervision of the operational activities related to bulk LPG Filling Plant and ensure these

          activities are carried out in accordance with the Manual of Worksite Operations

·         To liaise with Maintenance Executive to plan and schedule plant maintained for periodical maintenance and

          calibration and ensure they meet daily customers requirement target

·         Supervise the daily work activities of contractors and contract workers in the LPG Filling Plant

·         Supervisor goods inwards and outwards inspection to ensure they meet quality and safety requirement before

          delivery

·         Ensure that worksite stocks and consumable are well maintained and records properly kept

·         To run LPG Plant at its maximum efficiency and adhere to process as identified in the 6-Sigma project

1.             HSSE / Quality

·         Compliance to Company HSSE guidelines

·         Quality control on products

·         Unsafe Act Audit / Report of Potential Incident / Incident

·         Training of plant workers

2.             Operations

·         To ensure all returned cylinders are inspected and segregated for filling and reconditioning processes,

           i.e. washing, painting, hydro-testing and shot blasting.

·         To ensure all cylinders are stacked in their designed area for easy tracing.

·         To start up & shut down the LPG Plant as per procedures.

·         To supervise & ensure all cylinders are filled correctly and inspect for leaks, complete with tare-tags,

          dust cap and security seals before release to the market.

·         To ensure all cylinders released meet the minimum cleanliness index of 5.

·         To liaise with Senior LPG Operation Executive & ensure adequate supplies of LPG consumable

·         To randomly inspect and verify cylinders segregated for reconditioning activities. Example, foot ring.

·         To ensure good house-keeping at paint waste storage area and all paint waste are stored the

          pre-labeled drums as per DOE requirement.

·         To conduct end of day stock check and report to Senior LPG Operation Executive for investigation of

           variance if any.

·         To co-ordinate with plant contract staff / workers, drivers and office staff to ensure continuous unloading

           / loading of cylinders, as per 6-Sigma process in the plant so as to achieve maximum plant efficiency.

·         To jointly carried out final work station check on C14 & C50 cylinders with the contractor plant supervisor

           and revert to line leader on any weakness detected, if any for correction.

3.       General

·         Maintain close rapport with LPG Plant contract workers / supervisor / drivers

·         Maintain close rapport with distributors, contractors and hauliers

·         Assist to train new workers and ensure recruitment of new workers in the plant are carried according to

          the Competency Badge process, undergo hearing test and other medical requirement as necessary

·         To carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Change mindsets of contractors, distributors and external third parties towards willingly adopting a safety work culture, which has been made more difficult due to the huge difference in safety standards being practiced by the company and the competitors, and the generally weak enforcement and action by the relevant local authorities against those not complying with safety standards.
