Responsibilities:

  • Perform server maintenance, upgrades and monitoring of server
  • Performance, utilization, analysis and resolution of service/problems/change requests.
  • Work in partnership with project teams to design and commission new Wintel servers.
  • Perform evaluation/testing of related products/tools for server systems.
  • Perform Quality Assurance activities on server and desktop infrastructure design, upgrades and patches prior  to deployment.
  • Monitor trends in operational performance to identify potential problem areas and opportunities for continuous improvement/efficiencies.
  • Provide follow-the-sun 24x7 support
  • Steward the capacity demands for optimal use of server resources while meeting all business needs
  • Responding to customer request for operational issues/concerns
