Business Development Manager
Singapore - Singapore
Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the country category teams on customizing strategic initiatives and driving business plans (including pricing strategies, portfolio mix and forecast demand) to beat competition, gain market share and revenue growth.

Alignment of Business Directions & Strategies
- Collaborate with country teams to appreciate their business opportunities and challenges
- Set strategic directions and priorities for the country teams
- Jointly create the business plans for the countries
- Develop a robust framework to track progress of agreed action plans and resolve business issues in a timely manner
- Coach the country teams on metrics and influence prioritization of funding

Forecast Governance
- Review the market trends and demand fluctuations in countries
- Promptly establish the forecast discrepancies and re-deploy supplies and/or develop business strategies and contingency go-to-market plans
- Partner and influence the GTMs and Country Category teams on the implementation of these plans

Business Development & Demand Generation
- Conduct due diligence on competition and gain customers insights
- Keep abreast of market trends, demand fluctuations and pricing strategies of competition
- Keep abreast of demand generation programs and partner with PMs on the roll-out of these programs for countries
- Identify business levers to pull and influence with the country teams
- Collaborate with country category teams to identify potential revenue sources, implement growth
Pricing Strategies
- Review pricing strategies of competition
- Benchmark our platform features against competition and establish our cost competitiveness
- Provide prompt country support on pricing approvals for big deals

Portfolio Management
- Establish NPI product positioning and its value proposition against competition
- Recommend and influence country team on the current product category mix
- Collaborate with country teams to develop the competitive price positioning
- Oversee the ageing and E&O process (management & clearance)

Internal Stakeholders Management
- Foster strong rapport with the regional sales teams
- Regularly share information around the market and competition
- Facilitate discussions on business opportunities and challenges
- Agree on GTM action plans

Management Reporting
- Conduct quarterly analyses and updates on competition
- Consolidate weekly information around product demand against forecast
- Track every country's demand shipment and WOI

Requirements:
  • Min 8-10 years experience in category or business management, preferably in IT industry
  • Experience working in China market Preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Bachelor's degree; an MBA will be an advantage
