Senior/Engineer, Communications
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the COMMS and ensure that the systems meet operating standards is in compliance with LTA Regulators
  • Ensure system and facilities are maintained without major interruption and the availability of COMMS is at 99.99%.
  • Maintain failure management and emergency response processes and procedures.
  • Ensure technical staff are competently trained and certified to perform the servicing works.
  • Review the material inventory and contracting works are cost effective.
  • Identify trends in system faults and provide solutions.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Telecommunication Engineering for the Senior Engineer position; those with minimum 3 years of experience will be considered for the Engineer position (fresh graduates may also be considered for the Engineer position)
  • Strong leadership qualities with outstanding planning and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Free from colour vision deficiency

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of Technicians in the troubleshooting, repair of electronics/electrical and mechanical equipment of the trains
  • Oversee the re-commissioning of the trains
  • Oversee the maintenance of depot plant equipment and test jig equipment
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
  • Preferably with 2 years' of relevant working experience in electronic/electrical and mechanical environment

  • Maintain ticketing equipment fault data and history in Maintenance Management Systems (MMS)

  • Provide application support to MMS end-user
  • Liaise with contractors for the maintenance works to be done at stations or Depot
  • Ensure fast response to clear system faults and carry out the repair servicing works
  • Ensure Safety plans are implemented and all safety hazards are eliminated
  • Perform any Engineering work or tasks as assigned
  • Specific Safety Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to safety plans in maintenance works, including work performed by contractors and report on non-conformance
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in Computer and Networking System; candidates with experience in Coswin Maintenance Management System will have an advantage
  • Understand program logic and application workflow
  • Experience in troubleshooting problems in Server, PC, printer and network
