- To ensure a proper contingency plan and implementation for the branch systems disaster recovery.
- To assist with system relocation due to office move or office expansion.
- To deliver and conduct IS training courses within the branch
- To liaise with Regional Business Systems Support and assist the client EDI support for their respective branches
Sales, Operation & Miscellaneous Support - Provides technical assistance and supports to clients.
- Periodically attends Sales and Account Management meeting to provide S Updates.
- Assists Sales and Account Management to present Expeditors and to provide technical advice.
- Have a fundamental understanding of Expeditors operational systems.
- To train branch management on system architecture, data management, reporting and other Expeditors system tools.
- To increase branch productivity by identifying processes that could be improved or automated and by developing an approved solution for them
- To implement IS related projects that do not belong to a specific Product
- Internal and External EDI Support (i.e. AMS with US customs, EDI with third-party customs authorities, EDI with carriers…)
- To liaise with Regional IS, Operation Support, Customer Solution Manager to assist and support with system related issues.
