RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of the key responsibilities (in respect to IT related activities) will include:

§ Responsible for completing the allocated work related to test preparation & execution on time.

§ Responsible for the day to day planning of testing along with others in the testing team

§ Responsible for defining and reviewing the test scenarios and the test cases for System/Integration Testing

§ Produce the daily status reports and Input the required detail to the daily progress meetings

§ Escalate Issues to the Testing Lead, Manager

§ Work closely together to plan the test estimates

§ Create Initial Test Plan & Schedule

§ Complete the testing within the agreed time frame

§ Manage Deviations in Testing

Qualifications

Experience

§ 4-5 yrs experience in AS/400 RPG Application system and regression testing of maintenance projects

§ Well versed with AS/400 technologies, testing and tools.

§ Experience in Test Automation tools

§ Experience and Expertise in Performance Test Strategy, Performance scripting, Test execution, Performance Test Analysis

§ Good Project experience in testing performance of Applications using Performance testing tools like Load Runner, Neoload, Silk Performer etc

§ Good hands experience on various monitoring / Diagnostic tools such as HP Site Scope, Diagnostics, BAC etc

§ Certification in Testing is an added advantage.

§ Preferably in a banking environment with Silverlake core banking product experience.

§ To lead and manage the Projects under him and orchestrate the multiple releases with assistance from the Release Planner.
