Lead Engineer - Train Functionality - SCOMI RAIL BHD - Selangor - NKLF, Rawang

Scope of work for the Train Functionality Specialist is the Functional Integration coordination. The person is in charge of all functional integration issues, train control, monitoring and protections systems, information & entertainment systems, train to wayside solutions and diagnostics.

Main tasks

  • Supervise, review and approve all changes to functional requirements
  • Define the concept and review the electrical control circuits (including the hardware and software train control systems)
  • Preparing and coordinating all functional specification activities (Functional Vehicle Requirement Specification and System Functional Requirement Specification)
  • Supporting and ensuring that standard technical solutions and best practices will be used for function implementation by the functional integration team
