An established and rapid growing Property Group of Companies that has property development as its core business and other businesses spanning into construction management as well as property management services, specifically into retail and hospitality management is currently seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to be based in their CEO/Head Office in Melaka. As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will create, build and manage the financial planning, analysis, budgeting and forecasting function for the group of companies.

Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in financial analysis of existing portfolio assets.
  • Conducting pre-acquisition due diligence or market research of real estate development opportunities.
  • Preparing financing packages for prospective lenders.
  • Coordinating lender visits to development sites and investment presentations to lenders.
  • Qualifying underwriting, financial modelling, scenario analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting on investments in office, hotel, retail, and residential properties.
  • Consolidate, monitor and analyze management reports submitted by accounts manager(s) on monthly basis against budget.
  • Prepare profit & lost projection, balance sheet projection, cash flow forecast for planning, monitoring and financing purposes.
  • Ensure structured and timely drawdown of financing facilities and compliance with bank requirements.
  • Cash flow and treasury management.

Requirements:

  • Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, 5+ years of budgeting, analysis and forecasting experience.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of related working experience in the property development & investment industry with at least 2 to 3 years related experience in medium size or large property development company.
  • Strong Excel, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing accounting related job particularly in preparation of management reports and analysis with analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work with minimum supervision and tight deadline.

Preference will be given to outstation candidates who are willing to work and reside in Melaka. Accommodation is provided for outstation employees.
