Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review and ensure timely completion of monthly Manufacturing Accounts and Management Accounts for Management review.
  • Perform and review production overhead and variances to ensure accuracy of product costing.
  • Reconciliation of Inventory Valuation Report and Accrued Liability Report to General Ledger
  • Cost of production calculation process
  • Period-end closing
  • Budget and Forecast preparation
  • Coordinate stock-take. Reconcile and investigate differences between physical quantities counted with system records
  • Monitor entries into accounting system ensuring that all personnel are following the internal procedures and controls so that data are entered correctly.
  • To perform costing whenever there is a new product release
  • To review and update costing on quarterly basis
  • Verification of all Cost of Production and Bill of Material components.
  • Update Fixed Asset register and depreciation schedule
  • Preparation of audit schedule.
  • Carry out SOX/internal control checks
  • Involved in treasury, banking and cashflow

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification - CIMA/ACCA
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the finance/accounting/costing
  • Knowledge of inventory controlling, finance accounting
  • Exposure to budgeting and forecasting
  • Well-versed in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel
  • Detailed, analytical and results-oriented team player
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
