You should have a Diploma or Bachelor in Accounting or equivalent and have at least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, handling of GST or income tax matter,  with at least 3 years in senior or supervisory position. Knowledge and experience in handling Accounting software will be an advantage.

You must be self-motivated, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, oral and written communications are essentials.

Front Office Duty Manager - Pangkor Island Beach Resort - Lumut (Perak) - Pangkor Island

Responsible to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the daily administration & operation of Front Office.

1. Monitor daily Front Desk operations and that the Front Office Associates are performing according to their job descriptions.

2. Supervises all room and rate changes, advising Houskeeping when guests have moved. Informs all concern departments of any room transfers.

3. Follow-up on any changes of the Hotel's policies and impliments accordingly.

4. Works in any shifts as and when required.

5.Coordinates with the Night Auditor on any room statistics variances and correct accordingly.

6. Consult with Front Office Manager on day-to-day operational activities on a regular basis.

7. Conduct daily breifings in the absence of Assistant Front Office Manager.

• Minimum NITEC in Building, Facilities Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing industry. NITEC holders without working experience but with a strong passion in facilities management will be considered

• Team player with pleasant personalities, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to work in cleanroom environment as and when necessary
Able to perform 12hr rotating shift after completing a few months of the job training
• Able to perform overtime if required

1. Handles check-ins and check-outs.

2. Prepare necessary items for arrivals and make sure arrival rooms are cleaned and ready prior to guests' arrival at the Hotel.

3. Stand-by to welcome the guests. Greet and registers all guests (individuals or groups) with courtesy and profesionalism.

4. Assist guests with their requests, inquiries and provide informations.

5. Familiarized with Hotel's reservations policies, informations and functions.

6. Familiarized with CLS system

7. Handles reservations and assists in answering in-coming and out-going phone calls or e-mails, whenever necessary. 

8. Follow up with Sales Office or Travel Agents prior to guests' arrival at the Hotel.
