General Technician
Perak - Pulau Banding, Gerik

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in general building upkeep and conduct regular preventive maintenance checking for the common properties of the completed highrise condominiums/commercial shops.
  • Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical and plumbing problems with minimum supervision.
  • Carry out servicing and maintenance work on Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing & Sanitary System, Fire Fighting System, Air-conditioner etc.
  • Assist to attend to defects complaints from owners/purchasers.
  • Carry out other maintenance/facility duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Banding,Gerik.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experiences in similar capacity.

  • To develop and prepare maintenance procedure, maintenance activities, maintenance budget
  • To ensure maintenance expenses is within the budget, Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) project as per costing         
  • To manage all calibration activities as per ISO 9001 requirement
  • To liase with JKKP all machineries related matters.
  • To sustain and maintain the equipment and machine availability and reliability where most of the machine is more than 10 years in operation (aging factor) and some of the spare parts are obsolete.
  • Maintaining proper spare parts inventory and maintenance activities and machine history records in absence of database system such as SAP PM.
  • To execute the project within the cost/approved budget and project schedule.
  • To update the plant's drawing and engineering documents due to most of the plant modification previously do not have 'As Built' Drawing and not updated in plant master drawings.                                                                                                                                               

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position and 3 years project experiences in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industry.
  • Minimum 5 years experience using CMMS or Microsoft Project is an added advantage.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
