Responsibilities:  

• Finance Programs and Solutions (FPS), being the hiring organization, is an integral part of Finance organization of COMPANY, which is focused on providing the ERP product, process and project management expertise to consult, develop and deliver solutions that meet our internal customer's present and future business needs. FPS is primarily engaged in Plan of Record (POR) process management and solution investment benchmarking & recommendations; and overall project management comprising business requirements analysis, functional solution design, partnering with IT teams for solution development, testing and solutions deployment.

• Project Management - Analyze, solution design and execute design, development and deployment of ERP solutions including related business processes.

• Provide ERP and process expertise and consultancy to Operations to achieve next level process optimization.

• Ensure effective management of change associated with ERP financial process changes - including enhancements and fixes.

• Ensure integration of solutions throughout the key business flow with an end-to-end solution.

 
 
Requirements:
Key Knowledge & Skill Requirement:
- Good knowledge and application of accounting skills in multiple Finance functions like Cost Accounting, General Ledger, Inter-Company Accounting, Accounts Payables and Receivable, etc.
- Deep systems expertise in SAP ERP for finance functions.
- Strong Solution Engineering Skills - Ability to define complex business problems, convert into solutions and fit into the overall finance system architecture.
- Must be system oriented & have an interest/ aptitude for developing skills in new applications.
- Demonstrate customer orientation and sense of urgency to all deliverables.
- Understanding of Change Management Process.
- Thorough understanding of Quality Processes, used for managing projects and programs.
 
Key "Off the Job Skills" Required:
- Ability to communicate effectively across different levels & geographies.
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years post qualification experience in Project or Program Management for financial modules, primarily in SAP ERP. Demonstrated experience in financial process engineering and improvement initiatives.

 Job Description:
The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Work with project managers, program manager and key R&D engineers, define and shape the overall software architecture and strategy in a rigorous and timely manner.
  • Leading a talented team of software and test resources that are engaged in developing state-of-the-art software platforms.
  • Work with other software groups from remote and local sites, firmware developers and electrical engineers, on leading-edge product development.
  • Responsible for software deliverables including, but not limited to, user interfaces, algorithms, data management, visualization, security.
  • Oversee software architecture, platform, modularity, development of re-usable code and application requirements.

 

  •   Enhancement and maintenance on the software application developed by the team. Identifying, prioritizing and addressing opportunities to improve the software in the context of quality, performance, reliability, repeatability and cost.

     • Appropriately balance corporate design principles and technology standards with product timelines and customer specific requirements.

     • Keeps abreast of the state of the art in areas of expertise. Applies this knowledge to the area of responsibilities so as to improve performance, versatility, quality, and reliability or cost effectiveness of software products.

     Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Masters/PhD in Computer Science/Software Engineering.
  • Proven ability to assure quality of products into commercialization.
  • Deep understanding of application development, deployment lifecycles and automation through scripting and tools
  • >8 years of software development experience. Expertise in multiple programming languages of .NET environment mainly in C# and C++.
  • Hands on in TCP/IP, Socket, REST protocol.
  • Native to programming scripts such as JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, PHP.
  • Strong knowledge in software architecture design, MVVM, MVC design pattern.
  • Experience in cloud and server - client application development
  • Familiar with PC based architecture/environment and Windows operating systems.
